With Daddy

I'm so thankful to have a hubby who loves to spend time with his little girls. I took these shots that month of Julia and Charles and it reminded me of the ones I took of Mercy and Charles.
Sweet memories. ♥

"And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." Malachi 4:6

I wish I had....

...a camera that could take pictures in the dark!

Last week it was late at night and I went to let the dog inside, we have a street light on our property that we really enjoy (since we have a bunch of creepy people who walk down our street) but it had flickered off which it does from time to time. But it was soooo bright outside it practically looked like daylight! I went ahead and stepped out onto the steps and it was absolutely amazing!

The sky was very clear and a light gray color (not black like the pictures show) and it was a beautiful full moon. Not that a full moon isn't a normal event but I have never seen it like this.

The moon itself was completely clear and defined. You could see every single crater perfectly. But around the moon itself was this clearing and then a perfect ring of light around it as well. And the ring was made up with the colors of the rainbow, a perfect prism surrounding it.

Let me tell you, it was gorgeous!

When I added the fill light you can kind of see the prism I am talking about. But the sky was so clear, bright and beautiful I wanted to capture the moment, but, alas no such luck with my little camera.

I love the sky and could never get tired of looking at it.

"And God made two great lights; the greater LIGHT to rule the day, and the lesser LIGHT to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give LIGHT upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the LIGHT from the darkness: and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:16-18

God is indeed, very good. Y

For Amelia

Since you were not able to be at church last night and Julia wore the little outfit you gave her. Y

Really quick...

...I thought I would just share a picture of my sweet girlies taken this past Sunday. ♥

Until next time. :)

40 +10

Our little girl is now ten weeks old. It seems like only yesterday that I was 40 weeks w.a.i.t.i.n.g for her to come. And now this past 10 weeks have just flown by! Treasure each moment, they are a precious gift. Y

An old picture...

I came across a picture of when I was 6 weeks old yesterday while I was cleaning out a closet. Julia definitely looks like herself and not exactly like any one of her siblings. I couldn't help but think that she looked a bit like my picture so I tried to get a couple of shots. In the bottom collage I tried to age the photos a bit and get her to look in a similar direction, what do you think? :)

A Photoshoot by Caleb

I just love my C & C! They really brighten up my days. :) We went to a family lunch yesterday and while I was distracted Caleb decided to do an impromptu photo shoot with his sister in the restaurant. As you can see, Charis has quite a personality. ;)
